At Camp Winadu, there’s an adventure waiting around every corner. Our outdoor adventure program allows campers to gain new skills and make new memories every year.
Ropes Course & Climbing Wall
Our ropes course and climbing wall allow campers to challenge themselves, set new goals, and work as a team. The climbing wall contains various levels from medium to hard and our ropes course includes various elements for “team building” exercises and group challenges.
Hiking & Overnights
Camp Winadu is located across the street from Pittsfield State Forest. This unique setting provides us with opportunities to guide campers on divisional nature hikes as part of their elective periods.
Extended Outdoors Adventure Trips
Our divisional trips offer outdoor activities at an age appropriate level. From overnight trips to multi-night getaways, all of our campers have the opportunity to experience overnight adventure trips.
Archery
Winadu offers top-level archery instruction in one-to-one or small group settings. This gives campers the opportunity to learn the sport and progress at their own rate while gaining self-confidence.
Fishing
Fishing is a classic summer activity at Camp Winadu. Campers can enjoy high quality equipment, learn about the sport, and spend their free time dropping a line in Onota Lake.
